United Methodist Women

PURPOSE: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participating in the global ministries of the church.

UMW meets on the second Sunday of each month at 12:00 P.M. in the Wesley Fellowship Hall. Any changes will be noted on this website, in the church bulletin and/or in the Voice. NURSERY PROVIDED.

UMW NEWS

The annual UMW Church wide Rummage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 7. So PLEASE start to gather your items for donation to this great project. We know EVERYONE is busy doing spring housecleaning so what better way to dispose of all those unwanted, unneeded, and unused items than to give them to the Rummage Sale? The church will be open to accept donations beginning on May 26 during office hours for that week and beginning on June 2 it will be open both during office hours and for a couple of hours in the evening ( more details about exact times will be printed in the weekly Sunday bulletins.)

WE ARE ASKING as always that you donate items that are clean and in usable condition. Also, if you have large items such as furniture and no way to get them to the church, please call the church office or a UMW member so that we can arrange pickup for you.

One more thing… The Rummage Sale is a huge project and we need all of the help we can get with unpacking, sorting, folding, pricing, etc. If you can give a few hours of your time with us either before the sale or on that day, we would greatly appreciate it.
