To all-
After my Cancer diagnosis and treatment, I have searched for
God's purpose in allowing this horrible disease into my
life. About three years ago, God placed on my heart a vision
for having a Cancer Conference. I sat down and wrote out a 5
page business plan for an event. I have spent the last three
years developing this divine idea.
Cancer...Living the Journey is a event designed to meet the
needs of cancer survivors, their families and care givers
before, during and after diagnosis. We have managed to pull
seven organizations to the table that service about 95% of
the cancer patients in Louisiana. This is the first time
that this type of an event has occurred in our state,
additionally, these organizations with similar missions have
never all worked together. GOD IS AWESOME!
The event is completely free!! Here is our website:
http:// www.livingthejourney.org
Registration has just opened up
this week. I would encourage anyone affected by this disease
to visit this site, register and attend this two day, one of
a kind event!!
Please send this e-mail out to all of your churches, prayer
chains, co-workers, family, friends, etc.
Cancer affects us all, directly or indirectly. I developed
this event as a grassroots event that would serve all
affected. Word of mouth is our best tool to get this message
out.
In Christ-

Outreach is not a state of mind for a human "being", but a state of being for the human doing! If there are any areas of outreach not listed above you might be interested in, let Sarah Timberlake know, we can venture together where God has gone before.
